Actiance introduces LinkedIn static content pre-approval workflow capabilities within Socialite platform

Actiance, a unified communications enabler, has added LinkedIn static content pre-approval workflow capabilities within its Socialite platform to enable organizations to approve content and changes made to employee LinkedIn profiles.

Socialite enables granular control for social networking websites, including the ability to manage access and content shared across 160 features on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Socialite complies with Financial Industry Regulatory Advisory (FINRA) Regulatory Notice 10-06 which stipulates that static content on social networks has to be pre-approved. Thus, the platform allows businesses in all industries, including those in financial services and government to have social media policy in place.

Socialite is set to intercept user edits of LinkedIn profiles and automatically re-routes the changes to a compliance officer for review. The reviewer is then able to identify the specific elements of a LinkedIn profile which has been changed and can either accept or reject the edits as well as making comments via the Socialite application. Additionally, Socialite provides companies with the ability to monitor, alert and capture changes made off the corporate network, from a mobile device for example.
