US-based payment processor BillingTree has selected IP Commerce, the provider of cloud-computing platforms for commerce, to deliver their clients an improved application process, resulting in expedited access to payment processing services for new merchant account applications.

The IP Commerce technology will allow clients to submit documents online and will also interface with Sales and Client Services teams so they can see the status of the application and underwriting processes.

BillingTree delivers its integrated, multi-channel, electronic payment platform to industries, such as insurance, utilities (power, cable, municipal, and telecom) as well as healthcare and subscription-billed services.

IP Commerce provides a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) which functions as an OS for commerce. The IP Commerce Platform enables developers to create customized, multi-channel commerce applications and workflows that allow retailers to support their customers across all touch points.
