BRC, Google team up for Online Retail Monitor

Tuesday 29 March 2011 09:49 CET | News

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) and Google are set to release the Online Retail Monitor (ORM) which will quantify the growth of online retail traffic.

The BRC/Google Online Retail Monitor (ORM) is set to measure traffic for the online retail sector. The ORM will report changes and trends in the number of unique visitors to retail websites, in comparison with the performance of online-only retailers with multi-channel retailers. The online activity will be analysed geographically and the growth of smartphone retail traffic will also be measured.

The ORM is expected to be published in mid-April 2011.
