Thursday 4 April 2013 09:36 CET | News

Global e-commerce platform provider ChannelAdvisor has opened a new business office in China, Hong Kong.

The new location will serve as a hub for ChannelAdvisor to connect with retailers and manufacturers of all sizes in the China region.

ChannelAdvisor is a software as a service (SaaS) provider which enables retailers to sell more online across multiple channels through a single interface. ChannelAdvisor’s e-commerce platform supports marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, Sears and Trade Me. The company’s software allows retailers and manufacturers to automate, optimise and analyze online marketing activities from one central dashboard.

Within the Asia-Pacific region, which accounts for 60 percent of the world’s population, China currently has more than 500 million online consumers and will account for more than half of the region’s online ad spend within five years.
