cleverbridge launches international Facebook store

Thursday 6 January 2011 07:58 CET | News

cleverbridge, a global e-commerce provider for digital products, has launched an international Facebook store for digital goods.

The company, which sells to over 200 countries worldwide, has included localized order processes, currencies and region-appropriate payment methods in cleverbridge Facebook stores. Integrated Facebook stores enable retailers to keep the connection with their consumers before and after purchase. With a cleverbridge Facebook store, consumers can share information about a company or product, but also link friends directly to the store without leaving Facebook. Anti-malware software manufacturer Malwarebytes has already implemented a cleverbridge Facebook store to market to their fans.

According to data released by market research firm Nielsen, 54 percent of the world’s internet population is on Facebook, which now boasts 500 million active users. The social network has recently raised USD 500 million from global investment banking and securities firm Goldman Sachs and a Russian investor in a deal that values the social network at USD 50 billion.
