Digital River rolls out upgraded B2B e-commerce service

Global e-commerce services provider Digital River has launched an upgraded business-to-business (B2B) service, which allows small and large companies to provide their business buyers with personalised purchasing experiences.

The upgraded global cloud-based service enables physical and digital goods merchants to sell directly to new or underserved groups of business buyers, offer customised e-commerce services and use authenticated portals, segmented pricing, preferred payment methods, private reseller networks.

Digital Rivers B2B service has been developed on the backbone of its Global Commerce enterprise system. The B2B service features a range of capabilities which allow merchants to streamline system integrations, reach new global markets, introduce channel-specific websites by offering personalised shopping experiences and streamline the transaction process.

Digital River provides e-commerce solutions, builds and manages online businesses for software and game publishers, consumer electronics manufacturers, distributors, online retailers and affiliates. The company’s platform offers site development and hosting, order management, fraud management, export controls, tax management, physical and digital product fulfillment, multi-lingual customer service, reporting and strategic marketing services.

In recent news, Digital River has also introduced an upgraded administrative toolset which enables multi-national software and games publishers and consumer electronics manufacturers to build and manage their online stores.
