US online auction and shopping giant eBay is reportedly trialling a same-day delivery service via a new mobile application, online media outlet ecommercebytes.com reports.

Dubbed “eBay Now”, the new service is being tested in San Francisco in the form of a an invitation-only beta test for shoppers, the same source reports. eBay Nows same-day delivery service is currently restricted to brick-and-mortar purchases. The service allows users to order products from local retailers, which are then picked up by shopping valets and delivered to the consumer who ordered them.

In recent news, US online payments services provider ProPay has extended its services to all eBay sellers by enabling them to integrate its eAuction Account.
