eBay tests Lifestyle Deals service

US online auction and shopping giant eBay has begun testing a new service called Lifestyle Deals, which provides daily deals in some US cities, online media outlet cbronline.com unveils.

According to the source, the company is also redesigning its website to include Facebook features and expects to increase its sales volume. Currently, the new offerings are being provided in a limited number of US cities including San Francisco and Washington.

In related news, eBay has partnered with Signpost, a website which arranges deals with local merchants to go on eBays online marketplace.
