Java-based Elastic Path platform is an application which powers online stores globally. Elastic Path has served as an e-commerce platform for some of the Googles online stores which are currently being migrated to run on App Engine. The public storefronts and internal commerce manager have already been migrated to App Engine and the database and remaining parts of the Elastic Path platform are to be implemented on the App Engine cloud.
