US web design and development company Element Fusion is set to add new capabilities to its web content management system LightCMS to provide a suite of e-commerce functionalities.

Element Fusion has integrated an online store with the LightCMS system to provide site owners with the ability to highlight various content including blogs, forms, photo galleries alongside their products. The new e-commerce capability enables designers to manage their websites and to make changes directly on the webpage. The online store includes features such as product listings, settings and tracking, shopping cart and checkout via PayPal, Google Checkout or Authorize.net. Other capabilities also include manage orders and cost of service.

LightCMS is a toolkit aimed at organizations and web designers to enable them to create and maintain an online presence for users who want to buy and sell online. The online store functionality will be available to new and existing LightCMS users on 8 June 2011.
