Genie9 selects Avangate as e-commerce services provider

Avangate, a Netherlands-based developer of e-commerce and channel management technology for software companies, has won a contract from Genie9, a developer of backup and security software solutions, to power the e-commerce engine of the genie9.com online store.

Via Avangate’s e-commerce solution, the software company is able to manage online software sales on a worldwide scale and to provide online buyers with various payment options as well as phone and email support. Furthermore, with Avangate Genie9 manages trial downloads and leads as well as software renewals.

Most recently, Avangate has integrated a payment application from PayNearMe, a US payment services provider, enabling software buyers to order products online and pay via cash at 6,200 7-Eleven stores in the US.
