The Netherlands-based B2B e-commerce company Give.it, has officially launched an embeddable button, to make their gift-giving solution available to web stores worldwide.

With the Give.it button, web shops can turn their products into gifts. When customers see something they want to give, they first select the gift recipient from their social media contacts and authorise payment through PayPal. The recipient gets notified about the gift through email, Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin. An integration with Google+ is set to be available soon.

Give.it, which was founded in 2012, facilitates gift giving transactions for online merchants via a social e-commerce service. The Give.it button can be embedded websites or online shops, enabling merchants to start selling their products as gifts.

The company targets mid to large-sized retailers, but has also developed plugins for e-commerce platforms like Magento, Big Cartel and Shopify. Give.it also has a strategic partnership in place with e-commerce software company PrestaShop and Netherlands-based SEOshop.
