Hermes Fulfilment teams up with CDC Software for e-commerce platform

Hermes Fulfilment, a subsidiary of retail services provider German Otto, has teamed up with CDC Software, a global enterprise software provider of on-premise and cloud deployments, to deliver e-commerce and multichannel retail services to its global customers.

As part of the deal, Hermes Fulfilment deploys CDC platform to provide e-commerce and multichannel retail services for its global customers. Hermes Fulfilment manages the e-commerce, store-based and multichannel retailing requirements to customers in more than 15 countries. Hermes delivers fulfilment services, including online ordering system, distribution of the products from its warehouse as well as return logistics.

CDC e-commerce platform offers a multichannel commerce strategy to customers addressing call centres, public marketplaces like eBay, web and mobile communications. CDC Softwares services include enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing operations management, enterprise manufacturing intelligence, supply chain management (demand management, order management and warehouse and transportation management), global trade management and customer relationship management (CRM).
