e-Spirit and IBM have expanded their cooperation in the e-commerce field to integrate the former’s content management system FirstSpirit with the IBM WebSphere Commerce.

By combining the FirstSpirit content management system with the IBM WebSphere Commerce, the two companies are set to allow online retailers to develop e-commerce platforms. The retailers are able to manage and maintain content for the internet and online shop in one system with output in a wide range of formats and channels, including HTML, XML, PDF and output for mobile devices as well as newsletters, brochures or mailings.

e-Spirit has been a certified IBM partner since May 2009. IBM WebSphere Commerce provides companies with a customer interaction platform for cross-channel and online commerce and supports all business models.
