Jimdo taps Zuora for Subscription Commerce platform

Germany-based B2C website builder Jimdo has chosen US provider of online subscription billing and payment services Zuora for its Subscription Commerce platform.

As a result, Jimdo is expected to use the Zuora Subscription Commerce platform to create and launch pricing and packaging for several markets and customer segments globally. Thus, customers can choose, manage and add to their subscription services through an interface that is set to include regional offers and specific pricing for 11 countries. In addition, the service is expected to configure 20 different currencies and enable billing in local currency, as well as offer support for over 80 payment methods.

With the partnership, Jimdo is expected to expand its services into 11 new markets from Japan to Europe to the United States and South America.

Zuora’s portfolio includes several subscription billing services, such as Z-Billing, Z-Payments, Z-Force, Z-Commerce, Z-Commerce for Media, Z-Commerce for the Cloud and Z-Commerce for the Cloud VMware Edition.

In a recent development , Zuora has rolled out a new service, dubbed Zuora for Communications, and inked a contract with enterprise cloud computing platform salesforce.com to provide its service on the Force.com platform.
