MasterCard rolls out Simplify Commerce

Friday 28 June 2013 09:33 CET | News

MasterCard has rolled out Simplify Commerce, to enable US merchants and developers to accept e-commerce and mobile commerce payments.

Merchants, especially those managing smaller businesses, do not always have the resources to help them set up the payments acceptance portion of their websites. Simplify Commerce is also offering APIs and Software Development Kits (SDKs) in a variety of programming languages such as Ruby, PHP, Python and Java. Mobile SDKs for iOS and Android and shopping cart plugins are also available.

In recent news, MasterCard, financial institution National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and UAE-based telecom operator Etisalat have launched a mobile payment wallet in Egypt, which will bring Etisalat Egypt’s subscriber base payment services through their mobile phones.
