These include a Sites Service based on the Windows Azure platform, a new Commerce Service, as well as an expansion of its Payment Service. The latter allows customers to process payment transactions from the Microsoft Dynamics ERP interface across multiple channels, including e-commerce, POS and call center transactions. So far, the Payment Service has been selected by payment processing services providers, including US company First Data Merchant Services Corporation, for all major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and PayPal.
The Commerce functionality provides a link between the ERP products and different e-commerce opportunities including B2C e-commerce marketplaces or e-commerce storefronts.
Currently, over 150 partners delivering subscription-based Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions globally. The Microsoft Commerce Services will be rolled out in H1 2010, while the expansion of the payment service providers will be available in Q1 2010.
