Plimus, a global e-commerce hosted services provider, has made available the Version 1.34 of its e-commerce platform.

The new release offers sellers the option to offer three additional payment methods, including PaySafe, Wallie Card and Boleto Bancario. Boleto Bancario is a credit transfer service that is extremely popular in Brazil and which enables customers to purchase software online and pay offline at any Brazilian post office, bank branch or through internet banking. PaySafe Card is popular across Europe and Argentina, while Wallie Card enables cash payments online through the use of a PIN. Wallie-cards of various denominations and currencies can be purchased online (as e- voucher) or at one of over 300.000 retail points worldwide.

In August 2011, US-based private equity firm Great Hill Partners acquired Plimus for USD 115 million, from a shareholder group including private equity group Susquehanna Growth Equity.
