Under the terms of the deal, Serena Software will use Avangate’s SkyCommerce service to add new online sales models and allow Prototype Composer customers to self-manage their software licenses and payments.
Serena Software provides private Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), with product lines that encompass application development, IT operations and IT services management.
The Avangate e-commerce platform currently supports multiple localisation capabilities for ordering software online and via channel partners. The e-commerce capabilities also include 28 languages, 30 payment methods and 48 display currencies.
