South Africa: WPP acquires Applogix

WPP, a global communications services group, has announced that its majority-owned company, Aqua, a South African digital agency, has acquired Applogix, a marketing and ecommerce technology company, stockmarketwire.com reports.

 

The company informs that, via the partnership,it can provide customers with mobile and ecommerce technical solutions. Additionally, it provides Applogix with access to Aquas blue chip client base including Multichoice, Ford, MTN, Coca-Cola and Standard Bank.

Founded in 2005, the agencys services include website and mobile application build, front end development, ecommerce and user experience design. Clients include MTN, Standard Bank and Shell.
