According to Yonhap News Agency, citing a government report from Statistics Korea, the combined sales of local online retail malls and other businesses have hit USD 236.9 billion, up by 26.5 percent from Q1 2011.
Results have also indicated that B2B transactions have climbed 27.7 percent reaching USD 220 billion, which represents almost 92.6 percent of the overall sales. Comparatively, business-to-government (B2G) transactions have increased 14 percent to USD 11.3 billion.
