Tokopedia receives investment from netprice

Tokopedia, an Indonesian e-commerce platform which allows Indonesian individuals and small-to-mid-sized business owners to start their online stores, has received another investment from netprice.com, a Japanese e-commerce company.

Tokopedia has revealed plans to use the new capital to further fund its growth and expansion. In addition, Teruhide Sato, president and group CEO of netprice.com, will join Tokopedia’s board.

Prior to this funding round, Tokopedia has previously received funding from venture companies PT. Indonusa Dwitama, East Ventures and Cyber Agent Ventures.
