Under the terms of the agreement, VocaLink will combine its Immediate Payments interbank payment service with Accumulate’s mobile security platform Mobile Everywhere. This will allow users to carry out interbank real-time account to account transfers through the mobile channel.
VocaLink’s Multi-Channel Gateway, a component of Immediate Payments, is expected to allow secure person to person interbank transactions on mobile devices from a variety of interfaces.In September 2011, VocaLink has rolled out a new multi-channel gateway product that enables banks to offer customers interbank mobile payment services.
