Afrocoin Mobile Money to launch money transfer services in Africa

Start-up Afrocoin Mobile Money, a provider of mobile money transfer services, is set to launch its services in Africa.

Afrocoin Mobile Money is set to provide online money remittance services to customers who do not have access to regular banking services, or live in the remote areas of Africa. The service can be accessed through computers with an internet connection and mobile devices.

Afrocoin Mobile Money deploys its e-money payment system in Zimbabwe in partnership with financial institution Allied Bank Zimbabwe.

Afrocoin Mobile Money’s initial service coverage covers money remittances from international markets to South Africa and Zimbabwe, with intention to cover the entire Southern Africa Region (SADC) in the following months.
