Airtel launches mobile bill payments service

Airtel M Commerce Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of telecommunication services company Bharti Airtel, has launched a mobile payment service which enables consumers of North Bihar Power Distribution Company to pay electricity bills.

Consumers of 21 districts of north Bihar can pay their electricity bill through Airtel money by typing *400# and sending the message through their mobile phones or AMSL distributors located in towns and rural areas.

In recent news, Bharti Airtel has entered an agreement with airline company Air France to enable customers to purchase flight tickets from the French airline via Airtel Money.
