Global financial services provider Bank of America Merrill Lynch has made available a new suite of services for its Merrill Edge customers including a Merrill Edge Android application, a remote cheque deposit service for iPhones, bill payment service for iPads and a new Investment Product Education Center within MerrillEdge.com.

The new Merrill Edge Android application allows users to view investment balances, place trades, research investments and transfer funds between their linked banking and investment accounts. Bill payment functionality through Merrill Edge’s upgraded iPad application enables customers to schedule, edit or manage online bill payments. In addition, the remote check deposit functionality allows Merrill Edge customers to take pictures of cheques with their iPhones and have them deposited directly into their Merrill Edge investment accounts.

The Investment Product Education Center provides Merrill Edge customers with access to research stocks, options, ETFs, mutual funds and fixed income products. Customers are set to have access to investment news, research, reports, education, articles, analysis and other key functionality.

Bank of America provides individual consumers, small and medium sized-market businesses and large corporations with range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services.

In recent news, Bank of America Merrill Lynch has rolled out Trade Pro, an electronic platform for large corporate and middle market companies aimed at upgrading their trade and financial supply chain operations.
