Bank of Georgia to launch new mobile banking app

US-based financial institution Bank of Georgia is set to launch a mobile banking application for iPhone and iPod touch devices by the end of May 2012, online media outlet finchannel.com reports.

According to the source, via the new m-banking app users are set to be able to manage their accounts and cards, perform transfers, pay utility bills, top-up their phones, get account receipts about performed transactions, find the nearest bank branch or ATM, connect to the bank’s hotline and block the card in case of need. Customers are also set to gain the ability to transfer money from their accounts to other accounts and send money transfers.

The Bank of Georgia also provides mobile banking services to its customers via other channels, including via WAP, Java and SMS.
