Bank of the James to provide mobile banking services

US-based financial services provider Bank of the James is set to launch a new mobile banking service.

The Mobile Money service is set to allow the bank’s online banking customers to view account balances, transaction histories, transfer funds and pay bills from their mobile phones. Customers can access funds through a downloadable application, mobile web browser or mobile text messaging.

Bank of the James was founded in 1999 as a subsidiary of Bank of the James Financial Group. The bank operates service locations as well as mortgage origination offices and an investment services division.
