Barclays launches mobile-based remittances service

UK-based financial services provider Barclays has launched a mobile payment service between India and the UK, which enables Barclays customers and even non-Barclays customers to transfer money.

Dubbed Barclays Pingit, this mobile payments service enables users in the UK to send money using a mobile number to anyone in India.

In recent news, Capita, a UK-based business processing outsource company, has integrated Barclays mobile-payment service Pingit into its payment solutions.
