BBVA Compass partners Fiserv for ZashPay P2P service

Tuesday 2 August 2011 13:17 CET | News

Financial services provider BBVA Compass, a subsidiary of Compass Bancshares, has made available the ZashPay person-to-person (P2P) payment service from Fiserv, a global provider of financial services technology services.

With ZashPay, users can send money to anyone in the US using the recipients name and e-mail address or mobile phone number. The payment is deducted directly from the senders banking account and deposited directly into the recipients account, utilizing the same secure processes as an online banking transaction.
Recipients of funds are alerted via email or SMS about claiming their payments and the sender receives an email confirmation once a payment is made.

To utilize Simple Personal Payments, BBVA Compass customers need to access the program via the online bill payment system.

In a recent development, Fiserv has released its Business Online offering, a new service based on the eCorp system from Fiserv that provides community and regional financial institutions access to online banking services for their corporate and small business banking customers.
