Combining Bell ID’s card, application lifecycle and software management systems and ViVOtech’s mobile wallet software, the jointly-developed application is set to provide mobile network operators, financial institution as well as third party processors with a range of alternatives for the implementation of NFC TSM services, without having to outsource all of the TSM infrastructure to an existing card bureau.
The application allows consumers to download merchants’ loyalty, gift and prepaid cards and automatically redeem loyalty points already earned. Consumers can also request electronic coupons and discount offers, store them in their mobile wallets and electronically redeem them at time of purchase.
Most recently, ViVOtech has joined forces with US-based mobile contactless payments services provider DeviceFidelity, to launch a service that brings contactless mobile payment, loyalty, transit, ticketing and coupon redemption capabilities to smartphone users.
