US mobile commerce company Billing Revolution has signed a mobile commerce agreement with PayPal, under the terms of which the latter`s 45,000 merchants to conduct mobile credit card transactions via their existing PayPal Payflow Pro gateway accounts.

According to the agreement between the parties, Billing Revolution will become a reseller of the PayPal Payflow Pro gateway service, while PayPal will promote the Billing Revolution service to its merchant base. The PayPal merchants can now process transactions via mobile for the selling of digital and physical items. The Payflow Pro gateway connects a company’s online store to an existing internet merchant account. The payment service can be used along with this account to manage credit card transactions.

The technology developed by Billing Revolution enables users to make credit card purchases without a user name or PIN code requirement. Mobile users have the ability to conduct single-click credit card transactions, manage subscriptions and perform cancellations from the mobile device. Most recently, the company partnered 3Cinteractive, a mobile marketing and technology provider, to enable the latter to provide secure mobile credit card processing through Billing Revolutions platform.
