Blackstone Technology Group, a US provider of IT implementation services to the financial services marketplace, has supported the implementation of mobile banking solutions provided by mobile financial services company Clairmail for a number of retail banking and credit union customers across the United States.

Under the terms of the agreement, Blackstone has deployed Clairmail’s Remote Deposit Capture technology via smartphones. The Mobile Check Deposit service allows customers to take pictures of their cheques and transmit the images electronically for processing by the bank. Furthermore, Blackstone has delivered Multifactor Authentication, an additional layer of security via multiple forms of authentication that ensures client information is safeguarded. Finally, Blackstone has delivered a customized alert solution for banks, thus aiming to build a foundation upon which fraud prevention, customer support and direct engagement with the customer via the mobile device can be delivered. Via Clairmail, customers can enroll, perform transfers, pay bills, verify balances, deposit cheques and receive alerts of account activity on their mobile devices.
