Bouygues Telecom selects net-m for direct carrier billing service

French mobile operator and internet services provider Bouygues Telecom has entered an agreement with net mobile AG (net-m), a mobile payments services provider.

Under the terms of the agreement, net-m has rolled out Google Play carrier billing for Bouygues Telecom. This payment method allows subscribers of Bouygues Telecom to purchase digital goods and services via their mobile phone bill.

net mobile AG is an international provider of mobile value-added services and payment solutions. Founded in November 2000, net-m provides customers with credit card programmes, PSP and mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) services. Since December 2009 NTT DOCOMO is the main shareholder with approximately 87 percent share ownership.

In recent news, US provider of collaborative business commerce solutions Ariba has partnered Bouygues Telecom. Under the terms of the agreement, Bouygues is leveraging cloud-based technologies from Ariba in order to enhance its procurement process.
