Monday 5 August 2013 00:08 CET | News

Cardiff Bus, part of Cardiff City Transport Services, has entered an agreement with UK mobile ticketing technology company Corethree to provide mobile ticketing on buses for passengers in Cardiff and the surrounding area.

The service will be available via iPhone and Android devices on any mobile network, allowing bus passengers to browse, select and then purchase bus tickets from their mobile devices.

M-tickets can be purchased using any debit or credit card, and are stored in Corethree mobile wallet. Corethree’s m-payment and m-wallet solutions are PCI DSS compliant and Corethree is a Data Protection registered company.

In recent news, UK transport group Metrobus, part of the Go-Ahead Group, has partnered Corethree to launch Corethrees mobile ticketing solution to passengers on a number of its routes in the course of 2013.
