CBA, Fiorano Software team up for mobile banking services

East African financial institution Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA), has selected Fiorano Software, a provider of enterprise integration and messaging middleware services, to deploy the latter’s Fiorano ESB, Enterprise Service Bus to enable M-Shwari, a mobile savings and loan service product.

M-Shwari is provided by CBA exclusively to 17 million users of Kenyan mobile operator Safaricom’s mobile payment system dubbed M-PESA.


Fiorano ESB, Enterprise Service Bus works as an integral part of CBA’s Core banking Integration Framework, transforming one-to-one approach to integration into many-to-many integration hub allowing seamless integration with third-party applications.
