Monday 7 February 2011 10:57 CET | News

International payments provider WorldPay has teamed up with global mobile infrastructure, retail and payment services provider CellPoint Mobile to develop a joint mobile payment services product suite for remote transactions.

Under the terms of the deal, the joint service is set to enable merchants to provide consumers with m-payments options via Worldpay’s payment processing platform.

The new payment option is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)-compliant and is set to enable one-click remote mobile payment services.

In recent news, US store chain McKeever’s Price Chopper has entered an agreement with WorldPay to implement the latter’s End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) product suite. The latter is powered by US electronic payment services provider VeriFone’s VeriShield Protect (VSP) technology.
