Cellum develops purchasing app with object recognition

Hungarian-based mobile payments applications developer Cellum is currently developing a mobile payment system. The experimental project is co-financed by the EU and plans include the development of software capable of visually recognizing the item chosen for purchase.

In its experimental project which was launched in December 2012, Cellum is working on a payment solution that can take full advantage of the capabilities of smartphones.

Cellum was founded in 2000 and it provides services across areas of m-commerce, including mobile purchasing, mobile payment and contactless NFC technologies.
