CHARGE Anywhere achieves MasterCard Mobile POS Program compliance for EMV mPOS solution

CHARGE Anywhere, a US provider of mobile payment and payment gateway services, has unveiled that three of its mobile payment solutions have completed the registration and certification process achieving multiple mPOS product listings on the MasterCard Mobile Point-of-Sale (mPOS) Program website.

The CHARGE Anywhere mobile payment application for iOS, Android and BlackBerry smartphones and tablets enables merchants to turn their mobile device into a functional point-of-sale terminal. The CHARGE Anywhere mobile payment solution has been approved for the MasterCard mPOS Program with the following configurations; 1. Audio jack magnetic card reader/dongle, 2. Bluetooth magnetic card reader/receipt printer, 3. Bluetooth EMV/Chip & PIN reader.

MasterCard introduced the MasterCard Mobile POS Program to provide guidance to mobile POS solution providers and promote simple and secure transactions when consumers use their debit, credit and prepaid cards to pay merchants that use these devices.

In recent news, CHARGE Anywhere has launched an EMV mPOS solution which converts a BlackBerry phone into an EMV point of sale terminal.
