Chase Paymentech selects Ingenico for NFC mobile and EMV payments in the US

US merchant acquirer and payment processor Chase Paymentech has selected global provider of payment services Ingenico to distribute the latter’s Telium series point-of-sale (POS) devices to merchants in the US.

With the Telium iCT250, Chase Paymentech merchants are set to be able to accept payments including contactless, EMV, NFC mobile and traditional magnetic stripe cards.

The complete Telium series includes iCT220 & iCT250 countertop terminals, iWL220 & iWL250BL (bluetooth) wireless devices, iPP220 & iPP320 PIN pads and iSMP smartpay mobile device for iPhone and iPod touch.

In recent news, US distributor of POS terminals The Phoenix Group (TPG) has entered an agreement Ingenico to market and distribute the latter’s Telium series point-of-sale (POS) devices to independent sales organizations (ISOs) in the US.
