Financial services provider Citi has launched two applications for mobile devices- CitiDirect BE Payment Advisor and Payments Directory Mobile.

CitiDirect BE Mobile Payment Advisor is an application which allows banks, their customers, or third parties to track the status of a payment from any mobile device. Also, this app allows users to search for transaction updates online from a computer with an internet connection. Payments Directory Mobile is an application which allows banks to explore a database of institutions that participate in US dollar clearing. Both the applications require no installation or user credentials.

Citi provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a range of financial products and services, including consumer banking and credit, corporate and investment banking, securities brokerage, transaction services and wealth management.

In recent news, Citi has expanded its global commercial cards footprint by adding Turkey to its proprietary platform, further upgrading its offering throughout Europe, Middle-East and Africa (EMEA).
