Cobalt Telephone Technologies, a UK-based developer of self-service payments technology, has made available an enhanced version of its RingGo phone parking service for the iPhone.

The RingGo iPhone app version 2.0 includes direct payment capabilities for parking services andenhanced control over personal account details; it also provides users with the possibility to test the service using a trial version and monitor the RingGo history data up to a week back as well as full compatibility with the Apple iPad.

Users that want to apply for the RingGo iPhone service need to introduce their credit or debit card details either through Cobalt’s website or via the standard IVR service. Once the registration process is completed, the information is automatically transferred to the iPhone payment screen with just the last four digits displayed, enabling users to initiate payments by entering the card’s 3-digit security code.
