Australian financial services provider Commonwealth Bank has signed over 100,000 regular customers to its mobile phone banking service, in the six-month interval since its launch.

According to representatives of the bank, the most popular features accessed by mobile banking consumers include transactions viewing, funds transfers and bill payments. The mobile phone banking service is available to Commonwealth Bank’s NetBank users and allows customers to employ their mobiles in order to check account balances and scheduled transactions, transfer funds to third party bank accounts, pay bills, review transactions and locate the nearest Commonwealth Bank branch or ATM.
