CorFire will integrate PayPal’s Mobile Express Checkout, PayPal Here as well as other PayPal services. In addition, CorFire will work with PayPal to bring large merchants and their services including mobile closed-loop cards, offers and loyalty programs into the PayPal’s mobile app. Consequently,merchants, are set to be able to deploy their own mobile application including PayPal services and at the same time be part of the PayPal mobile application.
Mobile Express Checkout streamlines customer payment and checkout on mobile devices while PayPal Here allows consumers to check in at merchant stores with their smartphone and pay at the POS using in-store checkout with their PayPal accounts.
CorFire offers mobile technology platforms to financial institutions, mobile network operators (MNOs), payment processors, card issuers and retailers. Its three core technology offerings include its TSM platform, a mobile wallet offering and a suite of mobile marketing services.
In recent news, CorFire has entered an agreement with Vodafone to provide the latter with mobile wallet functionalities.
