Crealogix launches CLX.MobileSecurity for mobile authentication

Thursday 6 September 2012 09:13 CET | News

Switzerland-based provider of software and hardware related products Crealogix has launched a new product for mobile authentication of mobile banking transactions dubbed CLX.MobileSecurity.

The CLX.MobileSecurity product is based on the two-factor authentication principle. This method uses a USB token or smartphone as a second channel and is currently being used with desktop devices. The new service enables access via the audio interface or NFC functionality of the mobile device. The audio token, which is an integral part of CLX.MobileSecurity, is inserted into the audio port of the mobile device for identification or to confirm a transaction. An LCD screen enables the additional confirmation of the transaction. The audio token can be used with smartphones, tablets and desktops.
