CU Wallet, a collaborative credit union owned and directed mobile payments technology provider, has entered a partnership with DoubleBeam, a mobile payments services provider, and CheckAlt, a payment processing company, to integrate mobile payments and eCheck image cash letter payment processing functionalities into its credit union-centric mobile wallet application.

CU Wallet launched its credit union driven mobile wallet in September. CU Wallet is integrating DoubleBeams mobile payments software development kit (SDK), enabling credit unions to onboard members by taking a picture of a blank cheque and photo ID, and CheckAlts mobile payment processing service, providing credit unions end-to-end mobile payment processing.

CU Wallet is a credit union centric mobile payments service. Co-founded in 2013 by financial services entrepreneurs Paul Fiore and Kirk Drake, CU Wallet combines technology with direct credit union ownership. CU Wallet’s mobile payments platform is designed by credit unions to assist credit unions.

DoubleBeam provides white-labeled mobile retailing solutions for retailers, including payment, data capture and targeted marketing services.
