US provider of mobile services Daily Systems has entered an agreement with technology provider Aurus to provide mobile point-of-sale (POS) services.

Under the agreement, using the whizPay iOS mobile payments platform from Aurus, the Daily Systems’ iAPS Sled is set to turn into a mobile POS terminal with an integrated magnetic stripe reader, smart card reader, bar code scanner and receipt printer.

In January 2012, US college bookstore chain Nebraska Book Company (NBC) has closed an agreement with Daily Systems for the latter’s iAPS payment sled for iPhone and iPod touch which enables the NBC to sell merchandise in seasonal pop-up stores and accept credit card payments at off-site events.
