Demandware’s Digital Store solution is set to enable retailers to digitise the store by combining omni-channel platform capabilities with store functionality such as buy in-store/ship to home, guided selling, bar code scanning and credit card transactions. This app allows store associates to access a customer’s profile and past purchases, view product inventory availability and leverage that information to create a personalised shopping experience for customers. Associates can also use the app to find additional product styles and sizes, make recommendations based on buyer preferences or perform price matching.
In January 2013, Demandware was selected by ECCO, a shoes retailer, to launch its new e-commerce and mobile commerce website.
