Austrian mobile messaging and mobile payments transaction company Dimoco has seen a 47 percent growth in its mobile TAN transactions in H1 of 2012 as compared to the same period in 2011.

Using the mTAN service, consumers request the mTAN via the online banking website, receive it via text message on their mobile phones and then enter the code for their transaction on the Web. The mTAN consists of a time-limited code that can only be used once.

DIMOCO operates, develops and markets a mobile payment transaction hub whereby connections to mobile operators are bundled and provided to business customers to bill their digital and virtual content.

In recent news, Dimoco has expanded its network of countries to include Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo. With this expansion, the DIMOCO mobile payment transactions hub currently includes 23 countries with around 594 million mobile subscribers.
