Easycash, mpass enter payments agreement

German payment services company easycash has been selected as a payments partner for Vodafone Germany and O2 Germanys mobile payment system mpass.

Under the terms of the deal, easycash will be responsible for direct debit payments by mpass users. Mpass is available automatically to all Vodafone Germany and O2 postpaid subscribers, while prepaid subscribers, business subscribers and other German operators’ subscribers with any mobile phone and any bank account can use mpass after they register online. Mpass combines the direct debiting scheme with a SMS payment confirmation on the mobile phone. Customers are able to order a product from an online retailer on the mobile portal. All they have to do is enter the mobile number and a mpass PIN of their choice.
